Hi my name is Eric Wolf I am a nurse. I serve on a Med/Surg/Oncology unit in Colorado. I have organized and led retreats for over 30 years. I am thrilled this weekend is finally coming together. I have had this vision for 4-5 years and NOW is the time. Nurses are under supported, underappreciated, and getting stretched like never before. I am sad watching nurses leave the profession. 

 

I came to the point where I knew I had to do something. The Nurse Care weekend is designed to be an experience where you can relax and hang out with other nurses who are in the chaos. It will also be a time to share stories and get real about where we and support one another.  You might show up ready to quit, doing great, or anywhere in between.

 

It is our goal as hosts to provide a safe, sacred, space for YOU wherever you are.  We have space for only 15 nurses!

Colleen Flynn - I have been an RN for over twenty five years. I have experience working in a variety of settings such as the hospital floor, operating room, physician office, hospice and home care. I have also held many positions from staff nurse to Director of Nursing. Beginning in 2016, when I wasn’t practicing as a nurse, I was leading women’s small groups with my church. I also attended and later lead a small group called Divorce Care. As a result I have made some amazing connections with the women and men who have attended. When Eric asked me to join him in his quest to create this weekend designed specifically for nurses, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. 

 

This weekend retreat (Caring for your heart) will consist of personal time, small and large (up to 15ppl) experiences.
